What is Spray On Concrete Coatings?

Spray-on concrete coatings is essentially a facelift for your worn-out concrete surfaces. The process involves the application of a thin, cement-based overlay on the existing concrete. This isn’t just a temporary solution, however; It creates a robust new surface that not only enhances the look of the concrete but also prolongs its life. This innovative technique opens up a whole new world of aesthetic possibilities, with an array of finishes ranging from uniform, monochromatic colours to intricate patterns and designs that can emulate the look of natural stone or bricks.

How does spray-on concrete differ from other conventional concrete coating solutions? The answer lies in the unique composition of the spray-on concrete mixture and its application process. Unlike traditional concrete which requires a substantial amount of labour and time to install, spray-on concrete coatings is significantly more efficient. It can be applied quickly and easily, making it ideal for both large-scale commercial projects and smaller residential tasks.

However, like all things, spray-on concrete coatings is not without its drawbacks. While it can certainly breathe new life into existing concrete surfaces, it’s important to note that it won’t fix substantial underlying structural issues. If the existing concrete is heavily damaged or unstable, other concrete repair methods may be required first.
